Simone de Bollardière - Simone de Bollardière, born Simone Ertaud on February 10, 1922 in Nantes, is an emblematic figure of pacifism and non-violence in France. She is best known for her commitment alongside her husband, General Jacques Pâris de Bollardière, famous for his opposition to torture during the Algerian War.
